Clearspring’s AddThis Ramps Up Real-Time Analytics
Data analytics has become enterprises’ weapon of strategy and determine the level of service customers’ desire. Today, Clearspring joins the raving analytics party and empowers publishers to analyze content sharing activity as it happens via the AddThis platform within the same dashboard.
Clearspring Founder and CEO Hooman Radfar provided further details on this new product. “AddThis is now the only sharing platform to enable a publisher to track all sharing activity, but also to do it real-time. For the first time, web sites can monitor all sharing activity coming from their site—including copy and pasted links—from a single dashboard and can more easily leverage this data to optimize their sites.
“Unlike with SEO, social media optimization happens in real-time. It’s not about days, or weeks; it’s about minutes and seconds. When social groundswell occurs, publishers will be able to jump on it—live.”
This new address bar sharing element will allow publishers to monitor who are copying and pasting their links from address bar of a browser. This may sound obvious, but believe it or not, this is the first time that publishers will have a clear insight on content sharing of this nature. This information will then be linked to sharing activities going on AddThis and social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Google +1 buttons. In turn, it will give a better social performance picture in a singular app.
The company is also serious about big data and making audience platform portable through “Audiences Everywhere.” This app aims to generate specifics demographics that a particular user needs. Their massive potential to rule the market has lured a $20 million Series D funding round.
Clearspring is a global leader in linking publishers, services and advertisers to customers within the social web realm and the largest provider online content sharing tool, AddThis. With over a billion visitors on a monthly basis, we can no longer set aside its significance to today’s market. Their stance was sealed when Clearspring AddThis platform was certified and is now a member of NAI or Network Advertising Initiative.
